PHOTO SPECIFICATIONS
When you are ready to sell your item with us, e-mail us 3-4 photos to show off the condition of your item. No need to break out a professional camera - IPhone and Android photos are accepted! Simply follow these guidelines for the best results. Quality photos = quicker sales!
CLEAN
Ensure your tack is clean and oiled so it shines for its photoshoot. If you're selling fabric items or clothing, ensure it has been washed.
LIGHTING
Used natural light when possible, in front of a window or door. Ensure the photo is not too dark or too bright, so that the details and condition of the item can be seen.
BACKGROUND
Aim for a light, neutral background so the focus is on the item you are selling. A plain wall or barn door works well. Ensure there are no other items showing in the photo of the piece you are selling.
For tack items like bridles and saddles, the primary photo must be taken without the tack on the horse. You may include photos of your horse modelling the tack as secondary photos.
FRAME
Ensure the item you are selling is centered in the middle of the photo, close enough to see details and the condition of the item, but far away enough that the entire item is showing in the photo. Crop out any unnecessary parts of the photo.
DETAILS
Use close-up photos to show details such as stitching, colour details, patterns. Include close-up photos of any marks or scuffs on the item to show the exact condition of the item. Include photos from different angles.
AUTHENTIC
We will not accept stock photos for items or photos taken from websites or google. Only recent photos of the present condition of your items will be accepted.
